Each year on December 1st. Black Investors Coalition will review essays written throughout the year and will contact the student of the winning essay to let them know they've won the Scholarship on December 31st. The requirements is for a student to write a 2,000 word essay explaining their goals after graduating high school, and how they plan on accomplishing these goals.
